phoneME Project Licensing

The majority of phoneME project code is released under the GNU General Public License Version 2 (GPLv2). Before downloading phoneME software, you should become familiar with the GNU General Public License Version 2 (GPLv2). Some binary components are also covered by the Binary License for phoneME Project.

phoneME Feature MR4 is covered by this Entitlement, which includes three distinct licenses.
phoneME Feature MR3 is covered by this Entitlement, which includes three distinct licenses.

Note: phoneME software may contain crypto binaries/source. Certain countries restrict the redistribution of high key-strength crypto. If you live in one of these countries, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are complying with your country's laws in this area.

Special Assembly Exception terms allow licensees to build an executable that includes those portions of necessary code that Sun could not provide under GPL2. Refer to phoneME Designated Exception Modules for more information.
